If flying Delta to LAX, LHR and SFO, check in at Terminal 2 with the Business Elite, First/Business Class, and Medallion people. Better than elbowing with the masses at Terminal 3.

Frequent travelers beware! Delta T4 TSA Pre-check is anything but fast. Babies, the elderly, and people who have never flown before all seem to find their way into this line. Leave plenty of time!!
Free WiFi...just I expected more for such a big airport...AA check in is a nightmare but good thing is that for only 7$ you can arrive to the center via metro and airtrain JFK! not a bad price really!
JFK is incredibly outdated for handicapped or people with heavy luggage. Welcome to NYC - now carry those bags down the steps and walk a mile to baggage claim!

Airtrain + subway is only $7.25 anywhere in NYC. Cabs are $45+tip flat to Manhattan ... ONLY USE AUTHORIZED CABS AT THE TAXILINE, don't take a ride from someone who approaches you.
Overwhelming with its size went through on transit from seattle to south Africa. Had to take an air train to the next terminal. Can't wait to actually visit New York

make sure you know what terminal you have to get to before hand especially after an international flight and a switch through customs its good to scout ahead or ask around
