The dan dan noodles are great but don't sleep on the rest of the menu. It's hard to go wrong. Wontons in chili oil are a must-have, and so are the eggplant and mapo tofu.
it's all about the peking duck. the branzino skin chips are heavenly as are the steak, the bass, the pork belly, the oxtail dumplings, and the four gras tarts. drinks are good and atmosphere is A+
Growing up in HK, I like my dim sum traditional, and am suspicious of anything fusion. But the food here was creative and delicious. Wonderful easter family brunch. Definitely coming back!
Delicious cheap place for your Shanghainese cravings. Soup dumplings, Shanghai rice cake, and Sheng Jian bao are solid choices that can be shared family-style.

Food is awesome but the cocktails are amazing! The decor is vintage Shanghai, the food is authentic and perfect level of spice. Get the Chungking fish and the husband wife appetizer.

The #6 wontons in hot oil are just as good as everyone says. The place itself is tiny and super cute. We went on a rainy Sunday a little before noon and it was just us (and our wontons).

Mapo Tofu has the right amount of heat and it isn't gloppy in texture. The dry sautéed string beans are simple but delicious. The three pepper chicken is a crowd pleaser as is the cumin lamb.
