Debbie PintoHaziran 1, 2013I have never seen such a mess. It took me 40 min to go to the security because the queues are so badly organised. If you have a chance to choose another place to your outbound flight, do it!
DON'T fly into Stansted on a late Sunday flight. The customs queue is guaranteed to be longer than your European flight (esp if you're non-Eu/UK)

Can't understand why more people don't use fast track security. Best 5er you'll ever spend.
Ivana MaksimovićEkim 15, 2016Too long queues for non EU citizens at passport control. Otherwise nice airport. There is good exchange office with many many currencies right after passport control.
Don't buy clear bags - they give them to you for free in the security line!
Keep an eye on your gate, for some of them you have to catch a little shuttle train. If you leave it too late you'll miss the flight.

"You can get shuttles here to the nearby hotels like the Premier Inn and the Holiday Inn. They tend to go every half hour. The to get to then you will have to go underground from the airport."
