Quite big airport. Gates 40-50 are towards the opposite direction. Getting to the gate usually involves going down stairs.

Nice duty free area definitely come early to depart
4 hours free Wi-Fi internet. Free plastic bags before security. Good restaurants choice in food court ✈️
- Mark ClulowEylül 28, 2015Arrive with LOTS of time to spare. They charge £3 just to drop people off now which results in a massive queue out front. Secondly, pay £5 for fast track security lane once inside to save an hour.

Gate 58 is quite a walk. Give youself 10 mins for comfort and to avoid the slow moving walking road blocks. People! Be aware / considerate of those around you.
Super busy super cheap. Have a pint in Wetherspoons any time of day.

Luba PolackovaHaziran 24, 2014You need at least hour and half to make connected flight. There is too many people at boarder control. Also, when you land, you have to go out of terminal and then go through security check again!
Crammed with not enough seating, forced to walk through the shopping area, an airport that used to be ok and is now a tacky budget hub.

This is one of the most annoying airports ever.. A place where low cost airlines degrade you to a piece of luggage but at the same time will bully you into spending as much as possible on the site..

If you're going to park, book in advance - it's much cheaper!
Pre-book only the Stansted Express tickets, they also come with a special offer if purchased in advance
If you are picking up, check out the •free• one hour parking . The short stay are hugely expensive!

Dublin flights have a tendency to change from the normal Ryanair departure area - keep an eye on the boards before moving to gate. Don't assume ull make ur flight if u get it wrong - it's a long walk!
I swear to got England is the only country in Europe that enforces that stupid rule for one little plastic bag of liquids. The staff are all rude in everything but duty free.

Nigel O' CallaghanŞubat 15, 2011If you're not in too much of a rush, check out the stansted express bus service rather than the train. It's very punctual, takes 40-60 mins depending on traffic and is only 15 pounds return!

Cracking wetherspoons after the zoo of duty free stores- Don't take Terravision Coach. Pay couple of pounds more for National Express and save yourself some stress (and in my case £110 for missed flight)
