Johnny Wang: Still the best gelateria I've been to along the West Coast. Highly recommend their Piedmont hazelnut and Bronte pistachio flavors.

Johnny Wang: Be sure to try their banana cream pies (or coconut, if that's your thing). The former is seasonal, so if you're lucky enough to show up when they have it, don't think twice!

Johnny Wang: Rich, decadent, soft cookies that aren't horrifically sweet, baked fresh through the day in a cute open kitchen setting. The mackles'more and salted butterscotch cookies are must-haves.

Johnny Wang: Japanese-inspired French pastries (cakes, mostly). Try everything, but, if you must choose, the souffle cheesecake and green tea tiramisu are particularly tasty.

Johnny Wang: Amazingly affordable and tasty Italian food when you show up during early or late-night happy hour, where much of the menu is half off. Truffle gnocchi and bacon wrapped prawns are where it's at.

Johnny Wang: Delicious, filling, and photogenic biscuit sandwiches. Definitely try The Spanish Fly with the cheddar chive biscuits!

Johnny Wang: Seafood-centric fare in an industrial setting, with an excellent black cod provencal available during both brunch and dinner.
