A cozy little bakery/café that serves coffee from La Colombe Torrefaction. Don't sleep on the financiers (bite-sized French cakes).

They serve La Colombe (a huge plus) and have agave for sweetness. And of course, simply the best french-style bread in the Hoboken/JC area

So far as I can tell, this is the best coffee in the neighborhood. And the pastries are some of the best I've ever had.

Lauren WintKasım 28, 2018The cara cake is awesome. And the staff is so warm and inviting. They definitely go above and beyond to make their patrons feel at home. I highly recommend. It's like a warm hug on a cold day.
Without exaggeration, the best almond croissants anywhere including Manhattan.
Ask if they have kouign amman (pronounced "queen-y-ah-mon"). Get it if they do.
The chocolate bread pudding is a must-have. Simple, smooth and easy to digest, very chocolaty but not too intense.

Love the pastries but the coffees are a bit hit and miss.
The coffee is absolutely terrible. Get your favorite pastry and head over to Dames on Jersey/3rd for some real coffee.
Buy a loaf of bread, go home, and make the most delicious French toast!
- Food is great, service so so. The cashier needs more training and experience, mixes up all orders and makes people repeat themselves three times. Needs improvement.
