Fun hiking spot for families, lots of little hiding places under tree roots for (big and little) kids. Be careful of natural hazards though, stay together!
Fresh fishing of the day, incredibly good food! If you're lucky, you'll be able to try the halibut fish&chips. If not, go for the salmon burger.
Service is excellent. Food is great - lots of it comes from the publican's farm down the road. Bluegrass Brunch on Sundays is fun. And I hear rave reviews for Wednesday evening burger night.
If you're a first-timer, get a flight. Can't go wrong! The place has lots of charm too.

What boutique should be...design+functionality+ambiance+serv ice. Did a tour with a client, went back a few months later & the front staff remembered my name! Amazing!
Great rooms (though the shower-in-bath and shower curtain destroys the contemporary design in the bathroom), lovely service, good room service and even a balcony upon which to enjoy Vancouver rain!

Come on tuesdays after 5pm for cheaper admission. Guided tour is excellent and starts at 6pm. There is a community bus from the UBC bus loop. If you do walk, head north.
