Marcel SantizAğustos 9, 2012Buy a family pack and eat at the Z-Cafe. It takes less time and is far less expensive than the upstairs but the same great food. Get dessert from the bakery and be sure to try a Napoleon.
Chicken dinner for 4 for takeout from the Z Cafe downstairs is a good deal. Just beware that their service might be slipping a bit when it's really busy; they need a devoted pickup area.

But the ambiance and oddity of the place make up for it. All you can eat chicken. It's a time capsule of late 80s early 90s culture.
Chicken livers with sautéed onions and gravy were great!

I'll pick Zehnder's over Bavarian Inn every time. Love their menu so much more. Awesome staff!
The chicken is subpar HOWEVER the veiner schnitzel is delicious. The sides are also top notch.
