Ignore the accusations of "flat beer"--everything I've had here has been spot on for the style. Perhaps the haters haven't heard of cask ale. Burgers are still among the best in the city.
The poutine appetizer is delicious — hearty, curled fries and giant chunks of cheese curds all smothered in gravy. And, it's a huge plate, so plenty to share at a table for 4.
- The sweet potato burger is amazing. They cook the burger to juicy perfection every damn time, and the shoestring sweet potato fries add an idyllic contrasting crunchy texture. Loved it.
Brett ROcak 19, 2012The Better Off Red is one of my favorite beers in the world! The Pulled Pork is above average. Pass on the Fish N' Chips... they only give you one piece. Free blues and $3 whiskey on Wednesdays.
The brand new outdoor patio is purty nice... even more so than the old patio... which was considered purty nice itself back in the day.- $5 app = kettle chips + warm beer cheese dip. Not on the menu, but just ask for it. It's delicious.

Place is great! Wonderful food. So much good beer, Trepidation (Belgian-style Abbey ale) is something special!!
Excellent beer and food specials. The BBQ sampler is excellent when the smoker is going out back. The nachos with shredded pork are a meal unto themselves.
BBQ Baked Mac & Cheese is awesome, as is the Scaredy Cat Oatmeal Stout. Burgers are also a solid choice.
I look fwd to two seasons. Mid fall and winter. When 2 of my fav brew are available.

Lots of beers to choose from, I love doing samples. They aren't very good at updating the menu though.
Upper management is hypocritical and non-understanding. Hope for a great SERVER or HOSTESS and enjoy the ride!

Ask about the Nightly drink specials and the Great beer they brew. The food is awsome too!

Arguably the best fish fry in town. Amazing beer. Always remember to ask, "What's on Cask?"
The tiger burger is awesome. $3 taps on Thursday along with karaoke. Can't beat that
Marc is a fantastic waiter, ask for him if you get a chance!
You must get the grilled cheese cheeseburger. You're life will not be complete without it.
The Homegrown Burger is awesome. Who would have thought to put apples in a burger?!
The Jack Kerouac is a damn find use if their ginger beer.
The last 2 times I was here they served flat beer. The burgers are cheaper than they used to be because they've become smaller. The service was awful and my food was under-cooked during my last visit.
They frequently have great live music that fits the ambiance.- If you don't get the Grilled Cheese Cheeseburger, you're making a huge mistake...
