Really good quality Yakitori. It is expensive, but the taste is fantastic. Bigger dishes like cauliflower & the chicken skin rice are also great. Be brave and try the cartilage & thyroid - so tasty!
One of my favorite restaurants in HK. Sure it's painful as they do not take reservations, but the food itself is worth the wait. Go with a bunch of friends so that you can order more food. Order: live
Tried the highly recommended corn tempura and I'm not disappointed. It's light, fluffy and holds well together with real corn. The best here is undeniably their yakitori which uses only fresh chicken
The best restaurant ever! Food is amazing, service is great (and genuine)! Order the meatballs and shiso duck fried rice. Katsu sando are also a must - they're not on the menu but they have them!
Try the Brussel sprouts, the cauliflower and the corn! Wonderfull food served by a friendly staff and in a great atmosphere! Music was also nice. Must-visit-place!
Delicious cocktails, meatballs, KFC, fois gras mousse... All in all, great dining experience. Definitely a must-try. Had no idea how many parts of the chicken can be turned into dishes...
What's good here? Everything! Sweet corn tempura, KF Cauliflower, fried chicken, sausage yakitori. If you can only eat/drink at one place in HK: this is IT!
Love this place. Staff are super friendly and incredibly helpful. I recommend letting the staff choose your dishes, we ordered 8 between 6 of us and I haven't a bad word to say. 1 of my HK faves
Revolutionary in HK. Signatures: "KFC," corn tempura, fried chicken. Must-try yakitori: meatball, heart, liver. Best: shichimi quail. Fun cocktails, great Japanese whisky. 1 hr+ wait. No reservations!
Try the corn tempura and the KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower). The chicken oysters and pork belly are worth ordering too! Be sure to get there before 6pm or you'll have to wait a while.
The KFC cauliflower is a must for vegetarians but for those tricksy meat eaters order the Kentucky fried chicken (secret recipe - not on the menu). The chargrilled asparagus with nori egg is good too.
The yakitori is amazing. Yes, the KFC alone is worth your while. BUT, the perpetual trendiness means it's always filled with scenesters indulging in high-decibel conversations about chicken parts.
Love the vibe, some particular items I would come back for: KFC!! Rice cakes, lamb ribs. Didn't get a chance to try the razor clam so I will go back for that. Drinks menu is awesome.
Ugh love the friendly servers, atmosphere, food, everything about this place minus the fact they don't take reservations!!! There's usually a line here, but well worth the wait!
The hip Japanese yakitori joint served in a western way. Great place to see and be seen. Must try their fine Japanese whisky collection, don't be shy to ask Eillot for help.
Great service, especially Leo who was really helpful with recommendations. Favorite dishes include the chicken wings and chicken meatball yakitori and of course the Korean Fried Cauliflower. So good!
Best meal you can have in Hong Kong. Make sure your meal includes the Corn tempura, grilled mushrooms, chicken meatball yakitori and KFC!! Say the crew from Dubai recommended it!!
So very very good! Try the KFC - Korean Fried Cauliflower. All the chicken yakitori are superb. No reservations, open at 6pm. Get there before 7 or you will wait. Love the Whiskey Lemonade.
Must try the chicken meatball with onsen egg and tare sauce. Also get the fried chicken. Unbelievable value for the money! Chef Matt kills it in the kitchen. Support talent hong kong!!
Superb ! Everything about this place is great ; you wouldnt feel like in hk when sometimes you in a realy nice restaurant but with a crapy hk service ! And the korean cauliflower is a must
Amazing experience, spectacular food, great service and relaxed atmosphere! Must try KFC, fried chicken and meatball! Very nice chef who came out to say hello! Try the home made shochu!
There is a reason this place gets absolutely packed: it's brilliant. Worthy of the acclaim - you need to get the KFC, and some random chicken bits - don't be dull and get breast.
From NYC to London to HK, the price you pay for a Hipstaurant is a 45 min wait for a table. Annoyingly the Chicken Meatball Yakitori and Korean Fried Cauliflower (KFC) might just be worth it.
È solo pollo, ma fatto in modi assolutamente inusuali e buoni. Una polpetta di temphura bollente, cavolo in pastella , pelle e fegato su crostini , ecc. birra speciale, servizio amico, costo adeguato
Seriously all of it... KFC (Korean Fried Cauliflower) Fried rice with peas and chicken skin is mind boggling - order anything and it will not disappoint
Lovers of Chicken flock here and they are the winners of the Outstanding Reliable Favourite award (readers' choice) of the 2013 Foodie Forks. Congrats guys!
Another important tip, I highly recommend trying all, if not almost all, of the different parts of the chicken that are on the menu. Also, I suggest the house "Yardbird" sake.
