So much free parking around the place. Free entry to the grounds, beautiful gardens, a great place for a picnic or just to hang out and read.

Tudor Place was built by Martha Washington's granddaughter, Martha Custis Peter & her husband, Thomas Peter in 1816. The site opened to the public in 1988 under the stewardship of the Tudor Foundation

The didn't accept the 1st check in special offer because the lady isn't familiar with foursquare or smartphones. The have a barcode for the self guided garden tour.
