The pork belly poboy - NOLA rumginger glaze, limeslaw, and garlic aioli - was one of the best things I ate in NOLA. And that's saying something. One of the best sandwiches anywhere.
This is a fancy man’s poboy in the back of an Irish dive and it’s so good. This isn’t your hole in the wallpoboy but it isn’t trying to be. It’s elevated and thoughtful and DELICIOUS.
so good! the dark and stormy is called the glazed pork belly now. was a little sweet for me, so I'd vote the shrimp poboy the best. They accept only cash. Enter erin rose pub and walk to the very end.
tucked into the back of erin rose, the pork belly po'boy is to die for. not a ton of space in back but you can grab a seat in the bar proper after you get your sandwich.
Everything there is to love about banh mi and everything there is to love about a gulf shrimp po boy rolled into one. The grilled cheese is probably the best you'll ever have also.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere carried over to their side of the bar. The po boys are delicious and creative. We enjoyed them but be warned - this is art, not traditional. But you won’t b disappointed
I had a lot of poboys in New Orleans and the "dark and stormy" with pork belly and limeslaw won easily. The best poboy in New Orleans comes from a tiny room in the back of a dive bar. Go figure.
Fantastic and simple cafe with internationally inspired, locally sourced options. You can get a great poboy and some awesome vegetarian options like the cauliflower or sweet potato sandwiches!
Seared gulf shrimp and rum soaked pork belly are to die for!!! The only down side is it is at the very end of the Erin Rose Bar that is a smoking bar which sets back the experience itself.
Made the mistake of ordering the shrimp po boy to share with my girl. Instant regret, cos that thing was delicious! Reminded me of a Vietnamese bahn mi but with extremely tasty grilled prawns.
Shrimp Po-Boy was delicious, I recommend getting it takeaway, as we sat at the Erin Rose bar eating, a cockroach crawled across it toward us. Certainly moved us on...
Closed on Tuesdays. Took us three times to finally get there when it was open. Pork Belly and Shrimp po-boys were amazing! Get there earlier than noon to grab a spot at the bad.
In the back of the Erin Rose Pub, must see! Try the rum soaked pork and grilled shrimp po'boys if they have them. (Dressed of course. The po'boys I mean.)
Best po'boys around. Bartenders were really nice, food was stellar, frozen Irish coffee was fab, but clientele didn't seem as happy about tourists being in the establishment.
Look for the Irish Pub, Erin Rose, walk to the very back, turn left, order the poboy with the pork belly, the Dark and Stormy, sit down and have an Abita Amber.
