Martin TiedemannTemmuz 17, 201210 February: Drink in the pub where Lenin and Stalin 'first met'. Some claim that they met in the pub which is now called the Crown. Lenin had recently moved publication of Iskra to Clerkenwell Green.

One of my favourite after work drinking holes. Can get very busy after work, but has a large area outside to stand and chill with a pint in summer

Good beer selection, something for everyone. Food can be a bit hit & miss - avoid the coleslaw!

Food is pricier than average but its worth it. Great fish & chips.

Beauty SoulMayıs 5, 2012Food was overpriced for what it was. A club sandwich for 8 quid with some cheap bread and hardly any filling. Fish drenched in oil. The chips were alright but to put it mildy I was not best pleased.
Great selection of beers, but getting food within your lunch break on a Friday lunchtime is very ambitious.
V.busy during the week but lovely spot to while away a weekend. Don't miss specialty beers on tap in the autumn.

Nice pub, good food. Staff rudeness levels vary ("tall bloke" particularly rude) - shame

Food generally good but avoid bar snacks. Overpriced & undergood.
