Tea for one is massive. Be hungry if you plan on taking down one of these babies solo.
On a rainy Sunday, go there solo before 12:30pm. Order The Full Monty (with beans). Try their house blend Earl Grey. Watch the rain not bother you as much.
Things to try: chicken pot pie, treacle pudding, sparkling Ribena, strawberry cupcake, and afternoon tea for two!

Julia MesmeriTemmuz 16, 2015You can't be seated unless the whole party arrives - even if it's 3 of you waiting for one more. Also, no tea unless you order a minimum $ of food. Too many rules, not enough sympathy. Not worth it.

We go to Tea & Sympathy every Sunday for breakfast. Nicky is the best and you can't beat the bacon.
- James BleekŞubat 10, 2018This place is disgusting! I had a soup last night and found a roach in it. I told the waitress (red hair, heavy set, in the 50's) and didn't look shocked. The Health Dept needs to do its job.
