I am at about 2-4 airports a week, Stewart's TSA agents have the biggest power trip! Great airport serving the lower Hudson Valley Area. Lots of parking. Getting through TSA checkpoint is a breeze. Not a lot of food options so eat before arriving here.

Get here early for your early flight. Multiple departures, slow security line and the new body scanners means you'll be running
The runway is so long, that this was an alternate landing site for the Space Shuttles.

- Super fast check in and security line going out. The bags take forever to come when you are arriving.

Al DuarteEkim 9, 2010Don't count on the GPS navigation systems to get you to and from the airport. There are detours all over the place and they direct you on wild goose chases.

When flying into Stewart - Do not check your bags - it takes a really long time for them to make it onto the carousel.
