Steve: A little more expensive than the markets, but still cheap, and better quality t-shirts and singlets - may also have the odd cheeky phrase in Indonesian printed on them. ;)
Steve: Beautiful hotel, with rice paddy fields on either side. A little bit hidden, but have courtesy buggies to the main road and shuttle bus to town. Clean rooms, nice pool and very thoughtful staff.
Steve: One of the oldest warungs in Bali, with traditional Balinese dance at about 8pm. The menu includes Balinese dishes (we tried the nasi babi guling & nasi bebek betutu) which were good.
Steve: Rock formations out at sea, Tanah Lot is quite a tourist attraction, about 40mins north of Seminyak. Best times to visit are around sunrise or sunset.
Steve: Ancient Balinese temple dating back to the 9th century. Don't bother buying a sarong from the markets, as they are free when you enter the grounds.
Steve: Past the strip (when coming from Ubud), great place for a drink/bite with views of the rice paddy terraces, without the hassle of street vendors. But If you photo the farmer, expect to be asked for $.
Steve: Kintamani is a village on the western edge of the caldera and a great place to see Kintamani Volcano and Mount Batur (one of four volcanoes in Bali).
Steve: Wonderful views of Kintamani volcano and Mount Batur (one of four volcanoes in Bali), but about 2.5+ hr drive from Seminyak. Break up the trip with a stop at the Tegallalang Rice Terraces on the way.
Steve: A nice beach with plenty of seafood restaurants to pick from for a sunset dinner. Most of them are a bit touristy and pricey, so check Foursquare reviews first.

Steve: A great view of Uluwatu temple along the cliff face. Kecak dance from about 5/6pm. Also careful of the monkeys that like to steal hats and glasses.

Steve: Enjoy the crystal blue water and combed sand (some of the neighbouring beaches are a bit gravelly). Great to relax, enjoy some beach volleyball, or some water sports.

Alışveriş Merkezi · 116 tavsiye ve inceleme
Steve: Open-air shopping centre aimed at tourists (incl. prices), with free shuttle buses, restaurants, shops, pharmacies and massage parlours. Better (& cheaper) food options than most of the resorts.

Steve: One for the kids: a pirate-themed open air cafe/restaurant, with replica ships, ropes and tree houses for the kids to climb. However, our little ones (2&5) were not so keen to eat up in the treehouse.
