John R. EakinŞubat 20, 2010Great location for parking at events at the Marriott at Wardman Park hotel... $20 and it includes a shuttle service to the location. Great bargain! ($33 to park at the hotel)
Bring food and drinks to enjoy a picnic on the large grassy areas.

Chaz CarnageAğustos 27, 2014Pretty decent Zoo, be prepared to pay for other things. Like parking is $22 for the day. Food is ridiculously expensive. MANY of the interactive portions of the Zoo were damaged, as well as ADA fails.

Scott YimMayıs 20, 2011If traveling by metro, get off at the cleveland park metro stop. Its an uphill walk from woodley park, but downhill from cleveland.
AbbyNisan 20, 2010The Zoo is a great way to spend a nice day. Take the metro to Cleveland or Woodley Park stations for less stress. Best part? It's free!
Be sure to visit the new Jessie Cohen photography exhibit in the visitor's center. Spectacular.
Use the Cleveland Park metro, then walk downhill instead of using Woodley Park and walking up.
Great place to get engaged if you're animal obsessed like I am!

National Wildlife FederationOcak 8, 2010Be on the lookout for Black Squirrels. The animals were introduced by the Smithsonian National Zoological Park and can be a common sight in the city.
