Serious EatsTemmuz 11, 2013One of our favorite bakeries on the Upper West Side. Great baguettes, strong sandwiches, and sweets that go light on the sugar.
Terrific loaves like rosemary olive & multigrain. Breakfast pastries - cheddar and chive swirl & the California bun - irresistible. On weekends try the herbed brie stick. Coffee not extraordinary.

Croissants not so much:(
As much as I LOVE LOVE LOVE their breads and pastries, the sandwiches that they sell for their outdoor sit-down service are passable but not as good in comparison.
Fantastic home made breads, mini baguettes, challah, butter bread are especially noteworthy as as are the pastries

Harumi UAralık 1, 2014Nice selection of artisan bread. Have some unique baked goods as well. Tad expensive though in my opinion- You know how when you go to France the first thing you do is get a baguette and it's the best baguette you've ever eaten? This is like that without France.
Pastries here are amazing. Outdoor seating is often for wait service only but the service is spotty and slow so only go if you have a lot of time and patience. Better to take away and bring to park.
