Food is prepared on a grill in front of you, which they clean, and w/o asking my vegetarian meal was cooked first to prevent contamination.- I REALLY like the fact that their sushi prices are pretty decent and you can get half rolls! I was able to try 4 different rolls (can't wait to go back and try more) because of that! Yum & Good Value!

Sit at the grill for more food for the same price. Order the Samurai and substitute shrimp for chicken for the same price. Get the white sauce.- First come, first served seating in the sushi and bar area. Their prices are pretty high for hibachi dinner, but they have EXCELLENT sushi prices. Lots of interesting and unique rolls. :)

Paul ChangNisan 18, 2010They advertise as the best tasting show in town ... but once you've seen one you've seen them all. Food is the best I've had at a Japanese steakhouse. Ask for the steak special ($9.99 ribeye)

Ask for Walter to be your chef! He's hilarious and he does a great job cooking the food.
You can order hibachi from the bar! Awesome for solo business travelers like me!
They don't have buy one get one free sushi anymore but rather lower prices. Many competitors in Raleigh but still the best. Actually run by cool Vietnamese lady.
Michael HamiltonAğustos 10, 2013Had the Bonsai lunch. A combo of steak, shrimp, and chicken. It was glorious.- Low sanitation grade 90 I went on the health dept website to find out why and the results made me sick. Plus, if u get sick, no refunds. Just coupons, as if you would actually come back.
They do lunch prices on Sunday which is great bc most places do not do that on Sunday to make more money

MatthewEylül 20, 2011Not as nice or inviting since the remodel, no more BOGO rolls, either. Go to Sushi Thai on Lake Boone Trail or Tasu on Brier Creek instead.

Leave without lemon cake and you'll be sorry -
The bartenders are awful. If you want a drink, sit at a table and order, otherwise you'll be ignored.
The Budokan roll is AmAzing...simply AmAzing
