A nice city. Yes it is small, but still the view to a mainland Italy, sea, sun, makes it so special.
The cable car brings you to a height of 2500m where you can take a jeep to go up to 2900m. Closed in case of bad weather conditions, so check forecasts to avoid disappointment.
Hiked from 1800m to 3000m crater rims. The volcano peaks are reminiscent of a moon landing, inside the crater is an iridescent array of colour.
Easily reachable: right at the 1900m stop on the volcano’s south side (funicular, restaurant and shopping area). Nice view of the surrounding villages of Zafferana and Nicolosi, if not too cloudy.
Very steep climb but don’t let the 25 min. sign discourage you. You’ll probably make it in less than a quarter.

Climb to the top of the campanile for the best view of Noto’s cathedral and the Palazzo Ducezio.
Just like in most of the other churches in Noto, you can climb to the roof and enjoy a spectacular view of the town and its surroundings, which are especially beautiful during the golden hour.
The triumphal arch marks the end of the Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Noto’s main street where you find most of the must visit baroque churches, shops, bars and restaurants.

This is by far the best preserved of all the temples, perfect photo opportunity.
I've already traveled a lot but this beach for me is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen! Have a walk on the rocks, chill at the beach or have a swim in the nice water. A must see place!
