Take the trail just a few minutes to Tamarama Beach. Just as beautiful but smaller & less crowded. Stop at the shop for an iced coffee or smoothie, the guys that own the shop are great to chat to.
Tour is great & worth every cent! They give you headphones so you can listen easily to the tour guide which is an ingenious concept.
Nice harbour to walk around especially with kids, nice restaurants along the way, playground and of course fantastic view

The pool here is fantastic, it is cleaner and smaller than the Bondi beach one and worth swimming in when the waves are too scary and you want to swim more naturally, showers good and working
This is a safe place, night and day. I've never had trouble walking through. It's also stunning all year round. Take a book, or simply lay back and enjoy the sun.
Best gropers - if you snorkel at the north end of coogee beach there is a little ecosystem along the reef that is very rich in different fish and very docile, huge blue gropers!
Manly beach is large and there is space it's got sand and surf and it's nice to visit, and the number of bars along the strip makes it good for the les discerning beech goer and worthwhile
Beautiful mall. Architecture is beautiful. Highly recommend walking through here
Huge zoo, great structure and thousands of animals. Try the Koala encounter ($19 up to 4p), and If you are lucky enough, he will be awake and nice to you!
A must when you have visitors. Start with brunch at three blue ducks and finish with fish and chips in Bondi
Beautiful sand, enough surf not to be overpowering, easier to find parking than some other beaches
