eifeh: Awesome little cafe with lots of character. Cats roam around. Coffee is good and slightly cheaper than other places. Good for working or reading a book. Free wifi. Open until 1:30am.
Anny Huang: Wooden floors. Has a Japanese vibe. Not my top choice, but it's a good choice for people who likes this kind of design. They do have some nice African drips. ❤️
Stefan Maierhofer: That's a good place for working as well as just enjoying a coffee, which is really nice and strong. Their pudding bread cake reminded me of Austrian Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake), loved it!
Lasagne Zucchini: Using quality Japanese ingredients, no matter food or coffee are well made. Spicy cod roe rice-ball is so tasty and come with salad and Japanese pickle. Pancake are in donut shape and not too sweet.
R G: Second location of the popular Nichi Nichi on Chifeng St. Very low key spot but can get busy. It has a clean and modern feel. Great panoramic view of the park. Their specialty coffee is great.
Mu-An 🧶: Pricy for a cafe in Taipei, but it's acceptable for the value you get. It's quite noisy but generally spatial and pleasant to work in. You can queue for the laptop area if it's full. Power and wifi 👍
Nat M: Dunno about their other food but if you're looking for a kick-ass brunch spot in Taipei, this is not it. Liked the little sides items served with it though. Nice decor too but gets noisy when crowded.
eifeh: Cute cafe for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Very busy on weekends. Make reservations if you can. Coffee and food are delicious and affordable. Free wifi. 2.5 hour limit. Gets noisy so not great for work.
Mu-An 🧶: Looks nice, but it's hella noisy even in a weekday afternoon. Gearing with a pair of headphones it could be a great place to work. Note that they put peanut butter on toasts. I hate peanut butter.
eifeh: Great little cafe. Gets pretty busy, but they take reservations. Free wifi. Good food (but no vegetarian). Try the croque madame sandwich! Strawberry-raspberry cheesecake is also delicious!
Seal Liang: Seats are comfortable, food is good, environment is good for working, the deserts are really great and different every day, the owner is a really considerate person, like this place a lot!
Jerry Chong: A cozy little coffee shop at the end of a tiny alley that only sells pour overs, roasts its own single-origin beans, and doesn't have wifi. Ask about their different beans and be enlightened.
Curry Matsuba: Good Pourover with 4 bean options, decent tasting if small sandwich (I had avo tartine) and ample seating. A tad noisy with all the hard surfaces and the seating arrangement feels like a after thought
eifeh: Nice cafe to work, although if they're sorting coffee beans it can get loud. Good coffee. Good scones. Free Wi-Fi. No time limit. Nice little collection of Fire King cups.
Kevin Marlow: Don't let all the pictures of cats deceive you (or do), this place has great coffee, a trendy atmosphere, and fast wifi. The space is cozy and usually busy, but worth it if you can grab a spot.
Asha J: Order the delicious food, drink some flavorful coffee and appreciate the interior. This cafe is covered in an array of plants they grow.... except marijuana.
Vicki Chang: Like this comfortable space and the concept with vintage elements. It's simple but special. A cafe with a light lemon cake. Another perfect afternoon. :)
Raven Amos: Cozy, casual and leisure. 2 cats. One of them think he/she/it is the really owner of this cafe. Most funny thing - they provide Japanese rice ball as lunch selection.
Chai Latte: A quiet coffee shop near park. Find a comfortable seat and order trombetta iced coffee and apple pie for yourself. They got free wifi (pw: majortom) and sockets. It's a nice place to go solo.
Stefan Maierhofer: Coffee and Cocktails which are not on menu. One of the bartenders used to work in barcode and he's really skilled. I had two different versions of Martinis and both were amazing. Good relaxed place

jackson loh: Nice drinks and well decorated. If you like a little special drinks this sweet potato one is quite yummy. Better to come after 2pm for set meals. But if you enjoy a quiet place morning is just fine.
Chai Latte: Love their soybean milk coffee. They also have some season limited coffee flavors but most of the time it's just too sweet. Usually packed but not so many people after 8pm.
Mu-An 🧶: Superb service, helpful staff, wifi is OK, plenty of power outlets, if not by your seat, just ask. It does get noisy so do bring headphones. The AC is slightly too much. Try the cheesecake!
MJ Lee: This is really a gem in this area of the town. Awesome coffee selections, service, and music by high quality diode magnifier. Don't go in busy weekend days, said the owner.
Mu-An 🧶: Friendly cats. 🐱 Opens till midnight. Ask them for an adapter if your plug has the ground pin, super friendly to laptop users. Overall pretty nice atmosphere in weekday evening.

Kylor Hall: Very modern cafe with a lot of great speciality coffee offerings. They roast very light; one of my coffees was a bit off, but all were delicious. They have a Steampunk and other lovely machines.
eifeh: Cute surf-themed cafe. Lighting is dim but atmosphere is good for working. AC was blasting in fall which made it unnecessarily cold though. Dessert options are limited and a bit pricey. Free Wi-Fi.
R G: Nice place to stay from the afternoon up until late at night. No time limit. Gets busy on weekends. Plenty of books and magazines you can borrow to read during your visit. Many tea and coffee choices.
Sarah Lee: I got the coffee with japanese plum wine. It was initially off the menu but the barista made it for me! He was so nice. Atmosphere is pretty chill since it's also a bar. I like the outdoor seatings
Asha J: WiFi got slower than progess in America. But the matcha latte and dumplings were heavenly. So get in, drink that drink, nom that noms and GTFO. Foodie Approved.
Calvin Tsai: The cozy atmasohere with post-industrial decoration. Music is great. Coffee and deserts are tasty. If I need to be picky for one thing, it will be the seats not that comfortable.
Y: Small cafe/bar tucked away in an alley. Good selection of wines but not much food except for small nibbles. Recommended for drinks only so don't bother if you're looking to eat.
David C. Drake: Nestled in the Treasure Hill Artist Village, this is a great place to kick back, peruse some art samples, and enjoy a good meal, coffee, tea, or beer. Wi-fi and electrical outlets are available.
Nathan: One of the best coffee bars in Taipei. Great coffee, plenty of sunlight, free WiFi. Not a place to linger though, since the seating is so limited.
Constance | @croostifoodi: Yummy and pretty large selection of cakes - delicious carrot cake and oolong tea cheesecake. Hot chocolate is made with Michel Cluizel quality dark chocolate, smooth and milky. Quiet and cosy venue.
