Very modern looking coffee shop with big windows to watch the coffee roasting process.
Fantastic tasting menu. My favorite bit was the goat cheese with fresh mint, piled on a fresh pita bread.
Good beer and food. Recommend the Raspberry Whale Cream Ale. Goes down like juice.
Menu has a few vegetarian options, like the cauliflower steak with wild rice.
Desserts are awesome. The bread pudding was made from local berries, carmel sauce and chantilly cream.
Soufflé pancakes with boba. I visited Motto after seeing the place mentioned in the New York Times. They have limited amounts of pancakes and the wait can be quite long.
Now this is solid airport food and beer. Careful with the table hot sauce as it’s super hot and a little goes a long way.
Good quality and selection of outdoor clothes. Always good to pick up some extra hiking socks.
An ultimate bucket list hotel. It’s expensive, but stay in a cold room for one night with an attached sauna.
Many vegetarian options. The Caprini Pizza has goat cheese, red bell peppers and pine nuts. I wish the crust was a bit more chewy though.
I think it’s worth doing once for the oral history. You can really appreciate how Edinburgh was in the past.
Pretty decent vegetarian breakfast burrito filled with scrambled eggs, veggie sausage and avocado. The side of hash browns was meh.
Cool concept: 13 bottles of liquor making 13 cocktails, menu changing every 13 weeks. Vegetarians want to be more cautious as meat and fish are used to infuse some drinks.
