Using TSA Pre, I can easily get from the front door to my gate in 15 minutes on a normal day. That's with checking a bag. 10 total gates, a Starbucks, and a few restaurants.

small, easy to navigate. Some nice touches that make it uniquely Maine. Like those Beans rockers. You can even spot a moose or too.
The people here are absolutely wonderful. As a frequenter flier they always greet me and start my travel day off right. Also- the asiago breakfast sandwiches at the breakfast kiosk are amazing- if no Daha fazlasını oku

With TSA precheck you’ll never have to wait more than 10 minutes in line. Hit the Starbucks, and watch the planes come in a rocking chair!

Michael Del CampEylül 21, 2011You have to get here first, right? Trains, buses and cars can bring you to Portland, too. You can rent a bike once you get here.
Small airport. Very easy to maneuver. Lots of power stations.
My favorite part is when I'm getting off a flight, walking up the ramp into the airport and I see the "Welcome home" sign. I smile every time.
Bring your empty reusable bottle and fill it at the water station. So much better than a water fountain!

Great clean airport! For extended stays use Park'n Jet instead of airport parking. They are cheaper per day!

Rarely lines at security. Food options are weak, but the rocking chairs make up for it.
Rarely a line to checkin but the security line can be a bit long depending on the time of day but moves fast
Don't let it's size fool you. They will still lose a bag or two every once in a while. Front door delivery though.

All these tips about waiting until last minute to catch your flight should be ignored. Always always always get to the airport at least an hour before your flight!!
Starbucks inside! Great food options. Water bottle refill station.

If you're packing a garmin, especially in a sandbagged case, take it out of your suitcase-- a lot quicker than what I just went thru!- My favorite part, besides the free fabulous wifi, is when I get off a flight and am walking up the ramp and see the sign "welcome home". Always makes me smile.

Do not leave your vehicle unattended in the Baggage Claim Lot or on the curbside, you will get a $25 ticket and have your vehicle towed. Thank you.

There is a line at security from 10:30 until 11:15 am. That's the only line time outside of the early am rush (4:50-6 am)
