We had a very delightful time visiting with family while enjoying a wonderful meal, That you can only get here. I would define the food as country food from an earlier time in my life.

Has a southern feel, some live music. A good fried chicken place, everything the salad bar offers is unique. Oddly enough loved the picked watermelon rinds. Amazing. Chicken is worth it.

Fried chicken was the best part of my meal. Smoked gouda mac and cheese was good too. Mom and dad didn't like crab cake. Bread pudding was amazing! Peach cobbler was okay. Would only recommend chicken

Warm, crisp fried chicken cooked to perfection. Salad bar is great too! Classic Southern charm and ambiance.

If there for a group, go for the fried chicken over the ribs. Pickled water melon rind is delicious...who knew?! Probably never would have tried it if it weren't on the salad bar.

Very unique salad bar. Fried chicken is fresh amd juicy, but def need hot sauce. Good atmosphere, clean, friendly servers and staff.

Whatever you order, ya'll need to include a trip to the sideboard for some amazing salads. This was my first experience with picked watermelon rind!

Right next to the Westin with Southern fried awesome food. Service is great, drinks are strong and my friends refused to stop chewing long enough to tell me how great it was.

Delicious, authentic Southern fare. If you want a drink that'll knock you down-a serious drink-order the Ankle Breaker. My waiter said he's never seen someone be able to order two! I certainly couldnt

This is NOT an incredible restaurant. Yes, the atmosphere is great. The salad bar is tasty and authentically southern. But my ribs were drowned in sauce, fried chicken mediocre, institutional taters.

If you're ordering an entrée, skip the aps and head straight for the salad bar. Make sure to try the pickled watermelon rind!

Try the chicken and rib combo, it's juicy and delicious! Also, plan some time to sit in the rocking chairs after your meal. It's just like Grandma's but with amazing food, sry Grandma :-p

Our waitress was too busy to attend to us, so we had to beg for water, tea, sides, to order, etc. Then the food-fried chicken, ribs, shrimp and grits, was over cooked. Don't waste your time here!

Fried chicken was good. Entrees were on the expensive side though. $9 charge for splitting an entree seems unnecessary.

Did you know it's the oldest restaurant in downtown? Apparently out is! I recommend the ribs and shrimp.

Service absolutely terrible. Over 15 minutes waiting for our check when done and it was wrong. Twenty minutes of waiting later and still not correct. If you have time for bad service the food is good.
