I savored every sip & bite of my meal. I loved the Monday night food & wine pairing (a prix fix meal is designed around a guest winemaker's vintages). The detail & care taken w/ every aspect is tops.
This shop has wackadoodle flavors that surprise and delight as well as standard crowd-pleasers. This high-quality product that warrants multiple tastings. I tried Beam & Coke and California Fig--yum!
The food here was consistenly strong, start to finish. Frisee salad w/lardons & a poached egg to start, the rack of lamb as entree. Broiled goat cheese over roasted potatoes is decadent and delicious.
A true delight, these ice cream makers know what they are doing. I tried Apricot Pit (made w/the almond inside the pit)--the texture was creamy and smooth, the flavor rich but not cloying.
The baristas greet you by name when you become a regular. Terrific cozy environment with a wide selection of magazines to browse through.
This is my favorite neighborhood bar that's not in my neighborhood. Everyone's friendly--bartender, waiters, patrons. Great for mid-afternoon imbibing!
Lovely little green space near the 7 train, especially if you ignore the pigeon poop. Women, you'll also have to ignore the men leering from the benches.
