Don't sit next to the planters because that's where the rats and cockroaches hang out. But seriously this is a great place to hang out!
Grab chairs and take them to the little pier - you'll feel like you are your own private deck :)
Great place for [expensive] food and drinks, people and sunset watching.

They carry a great selection of beers for an outdoor cafe! 🍻
Best place to enter is 68th & Riverside then walk down the ramp which drops you right a the entrance to the cafe!
Get a pitcher of Blueberry Vodka. Then get another. You're having a great time now.

Did they used to grill the burgers over an open flame? Still, my favorite burger in the city.
Coffee in the morning is quiet and awesome. Say hi to Pam. She rocks the coffee bar. Trust me.
While you're here, catch all of the great FREE events at Summer on the Hudson on Pier I - Wednesday movies and yoga, Thursday kid shows, Sunday concerts, and much, much more!
Kind of pricey for no table service, but you pay for the view. I love the blueberry lemonade, skirt steak, and their family/kid-friendly vibes.

In the summer they have air cond. Bathroom across the bike path. Clean and cool.

After you're done here, take a walk along the pier - you'll basically be halfway to Jersey.
Great burgers on the westside bike path - perfect with a beer and the sunset.

Mommy ShortsOcak 2, 2011Eat outside under an umbrella by the water. On Sundays, there are concerts on the pier to entertain the babies.
They have pitchers of the day. Also, "Summer on the Hudson" is full of free things to do.
