Zane BurnettKasım 18, 2013No JetBlue curbside check in. Unless you're catching the last flight back to JFK, arrive early. No millimeter scanners and small terminals make for pretty backed up lines.
Best food is by the D gates. Try the Asian restaurant, best I've found at an airport yet.
Terminal 4 is my favorite in the country! Free wifi, great shopping, pet friendly, and with a dog park!
If you like delicious coffee, go to Cartel - terminal 4 by C11-C20 gates
Its not even worth it to try the wi-fi...not even in the US Airways Club. Wish they'd make it better!!
Huge airport but the shuttle busses add a lot of time to getting in and out.
If you have a huge rack (D or DD), don't wear a bra. Going through TSA will be a breeze. It ALWAYS works for me!

Plan ahead to take all your clothes off. It makes the line go faster.

Keep your empty water bottle thru Security, and refill on other side! And keep drinking...
Blanco burrito by gate A6 is pretty tasty and filling, even though it's expensive (to be expected at the airport) and the burritos are small.

If you're catching a late flight eat before you arrive. Everything closes early. Plan to buy water from one of the vending machines which are card only, no cash (terminal 3 anyway)

It's very long and very flat. You should probably stay in your seat while on the runway.
Shoes and belts off, laptop out BEFORE you reach the security conveyer belt. You're already waiting in line, just do it already!
Sophia BAğustos 14, 2011Can cruise through security and check in quickly no need to arrive more than 1.5 hrs early for sure. 1 hr is plenty of time- PreCheck security works extremely well. Wait time is seconds.

Do early bag check at east economy parking. Super easy and fast!
Fly in clothes suited for the warmer weather so you don't overheat when you step outside.

Try the green corn chicken tamales at El Bravo, they are great!
If you aren't checking a bag on Southwest go straight to security and use self serve terminals there rather than the crazy ones downstairs
This is the only airport in the US that I have been too that has airplane pattern carpet. How funny!

The only airport I've ever made check-in to gate in ten minutes, plus free WiFi. Best. Airport. Ever.

Hitting Terminal 4 D-gates? There's a giant window near D7 where you can watch the planes take off. You might also spot some birds flying around inside.
Check out Barfly terminal 4 us airways concourse. BEST Airport food hands down!!! In gates A1-A14
They have the best smelling airport soap in the restrooms. Wash up, friends!!
