The souvenir shop is excellent. They have books that explain the wine making history in Burgundy. They also have Premier Cru wines for sale at very reasonable prices. Some are very highly renowned.
Go in the mornings when your taste buds are yearning for some excitement. Best time to visit is Saturday mornings as most tourists are at the market in nearby Beaune.
The cellars are magnificent and taste cepages from the best vineyards in Bourgogne. This was my second visit and will go again when my newly acquired stock is depleted.
Do visit and get a snack or better yet, dinner. Great place for ingredients if you are cooking but also lots of tasty prepared foods, and a chance to talk to those who sell it, the experts. Enjoy!

A lovely hotel near Vezelay. Highly recommend, a nice room and a fantastic restaurant with degustation by star chef.
