Incredible contemporary art collection that's on par with those in New York, London, & Berlin. A lot of installation/video pieces. Their store is easily one of the best museum stores I've been to.

The tour inside the Capitol was was free and it’s done on the hour. The architecture was beautiful and learning about Minnesotans was great. The tour guide was eloquent and friendly.

The sketch shows these guys put on are phenomenal and the corporate events they do are amazing as well. One day I will have enough courage to take improv classes!

The crown jewel of St. Paul. The park hosts the zoo and conservatory reviewed in separate covers. Plenty of free parking though can be busy on weekends. The 3 bus line will also get you there.
The Sunken Garden is simply amazing. The flower arrangement rotates I think 4 times a year based on the season.

It's a great farmers market. If you can get to it. I would suggest walking, biking, public transport, or better yet, go have wings and beer at Bennett's Chop and Railhouse, and catch their shuttle!

The BEST place to eat Mexican Food in the twin cities. Incredibly authentic and amazing flavors. Get something with Chorizo. The market is fantastic too!

Food is superb but the friendliness of the staff & wait time to sit is not. The cornbread wedge and the butternut squash with sausage was yummy. Don't ask questions. They seem too busy for them.
It's just amazing. I will never get ice cream from anywhere else. If you get ice cream in Jan and Feb, you get a discount based on the temp that day!
Wow. Fantastic ice creams. Ridin' Duurty is great. And anytime you add pretzels to ice cream you can't go wrong.
Cardamom, rosewater, pistachio & black pepper ice cream. Their patio is one of my favorite places in the city.

Favorite restaurant in Minneapolis. Not the fanciest/trendiest, but their food (comida tipica de Ecuador!) and friendly service is top-notch. Great vegetarian options - think avocados and plantains.

The waffle cones are amazing! They are made on site and smell great. I would recommend any of the flavors. I have yet to have one I didn't like.
They have the world's oldest remote here, as well as a lot of interesting radio and tv equipment from the 1920s-60s.
The assorted breads are baked in-house. Always start with them, and do not pass up the apple butter if it’s offered.
Restaurant alma is one of the best restaurants in the twin cities! Everything I had there was absolutely divine! I have no complaints. However the lamb was by far the best thing on the menu❤️ love
Awesome fusion Southeast Asian food. Everything was great, but the water fern cakes appetizer blew my mind. Never tried anything like it before.
The place is tiny so avoid peak hours. Other than that, the food very cheap ($10) and yummy! My favorite on the menu are the tofu-seaweed soup and bibimbap ☺️
Consistently good food, fast service, and low prices (for big portions) bring the crowds for pho and vermicelli salad. At lunch, the banh mi is one of the best on the block. [Eater 38 Member]
The donuts are so good, some of the best in the city. Also the ficelle is one of my most favorite sandwiches (and I love a sandwich!).

Everything is amazing. Freshest spring rolls and egg rolls anywhere in the city. Amazing bang mi (get double meat) also hai man chicken and rice, ask for a side of chicken broth, its life changing.

While not the cheapest used book store in the world, the sheer volume of books is staggering. Plus there are buttloads more in the dark and mysterious basement! Like searching in a catacomb!

The hours are erratic and unpredictable. Best time to catch the artist at work: try the door late at night. If the H of B art car is parked anywhere on the block, artist is probably in residence.
