Go to the "new" American wing. It's beautiful, and has some interesting furniture displays, as well as several paintings by my favorite- Georgia O'Keefe

The American Wing is amazing. Plan to spend 3 hours here at minimum. 2020 is their 150th year and have many special events. Check with them on that. If taking kids, try lunch in the Garden Cafe, under the Linden Family Contemporary wing. Way more options, and way cheaper! More kid options, and a great salad bar! Members get 15% off!
