Sanjay GuptaMayıs 17, 2010Been years since I rode in the coal mine or in the submarine. I would love to take someone who never has been to this extremely impressive and interactive museum located in the heart of Hyde Park.
The U-505 is a Type IXC U-boat built by Deutsche Werft AG, Hamburg in 1941. Captured on 4 June 44 by USN Task Force 22.3. Donated to the Museum in 1954 and moved to it's present location in 2004.

Nick HansenTemmuz 5, 2017The weather science area was neat, as was the U505, but way too many exhibits were broke/down for maintenance. We paid $162 just to get in and felt like it was a waste! Very disappointed!!!
Make reservations before your visit for the coal mine. Tickets are now required.
