Take a look at the flock of live Chilean Flamingos that live in the courtyard of the hotel.
Check out the statue of Leo the MGM Lion on the corner of Tropicana and Las Vegas Boulevard. It weighs over 100,000 lbs and is the largest bronze statue in the U.S.
This location was once home to the legendary Dunes hotel which were demolished in 1993. When Bellagio opened in 1998, it was the most expensive hotel ever built at a cost of 1.6 billion.

Harrah's really is the best place to stay for the busy CES journo. Quick access to the monorail at a station that's quite easy to bypass lines (people love to wait until the day of to get their pass).
Try walking down the strip instead of cabbing it. It's beautiful and helps burn off the extravagant Vegas meals! Plus it was super romantic and cheap! Great for dates <3
Ignore the fact that it looks like the mother ship is circling the mall. Great shops. Good location and variety of stores.
Don't try to get to/from the street directly from the Monorail station. You MUST go through the attached casino(s).
