Cutter HouckTemmuz 24, 2015I lived on this block. Don't let the traditional bar fool you. The food is good. Corn fritters and also the flank steak is excellent, if you wanna pay a little more. Harvey and Richie are great!
Max's is home to plentiful, tasty & comforting, dishes that are sure to satisfy any hungry patron. Live bands, trivia & karaoke do not disappoint.Truly the melting pot of the Beacon bar scene. Enjoy.

Chicken Caesar wrap is phenomenal, and so big it becomes 2 meals.. for under $10. This place never disappoints.
Serious EatsMayıs 22, 2014For cocktails, try a Maxtini - a play on a Cosmo that add grapefruit juice for kick of sour-sweet flavor.
The Rib Eye Steak is never a disappointment!! (I leave off the Shallot Compound Butter - the steak is so good it's just not needed!!)
Come for the food. Stay for the drinks. Miss your train for the people.
