Michael: This is the restaurant that iwas 🔥🔥🔥 when I was in London a bunch for work and I never went. Please go for me?
Michael: Great park for just walking around and looking at birds and flowers and stuff. Especially in the early morning.
Michael: You’ll probably have a ton of people recommend this. For good reason. It’s awesome. Don’t not go.
Rachel: Possibly the best museum in London, fully immersive history from ancient times to present day.
Rachel: Again, it’s free. Worth traipsing over if you’re already doing Harrods / The V&A — the lobby is very Hogwarts-like though the rest of the space is very 70’s
Rachel: Free admission and an easy ‘’stop in” if you’re in Central London / Soho — this has the most contemporary stuff.
Rachel: Definitely worth a visit if you take a stroll up Marylebone high street (very posh, very British) as a place to get some afternoon tea. It’s like walking into the old world. Stop, read a book, get a coffee and some cake.
Rachel: If you’re really into street fare, this place has some of the best. Worth a wander down if you’re visiting the Tate, it’s about a 10 minute walk from there.
Rachel: One of the worlds best udon restaurants, run by a chef known for “slow cooking”. There is often a queue — but I recommend going for Breakfast if you want a queue free experience and jaunt around Soho / Covent Garden.
Rachel: If you’re a fan of hot pot this place has conveyor belts of ingredients and personal hot pots per person. Worth it for the experience alone and of course a great winter selection. On the south end of Soho — likely a good lunch if you want to walk down past Piccadilly / Green park (can you tell I like walking?)
Rachel: In case it’s you’r thing — this place sells some of the best independent books around. Curation and signed editions.
Rachel: Speakeasy above the Exmouth Arms. If you’re grabbing dinner in Exmouth Market or Angel, this is a great cocktail spot. In the door and straight up the stairs.
Rachel: If you’re into cocktails — at the beautiful Holborn Hotel. Can definitely do cocktails and ‘tea’ in a 3 tier scone situation.
Rachel: This Italian food is to. die. for. Concept is ‘Italian Small Plates’ (because who doesn’t want to try everything?) — go in and grab a seat at the bar so you don’t have to deal with the snooty waitstaff.
Rachel: The only place I’ve been to that has had a perfectly grilled Octopus leg. Great for a late lunch / long lunch before or after some museum meandering (there’s 3 within a 5 minute distance).
Rachel: Again there’s multiple locations. Don’t do the main dining room but there’s great nibbles and cocktails at the bar. This location has a dedicated underground bar with ample seating; Seven Dials is more crowded but also more bar-like.
