Madison RoseMart 5, 2018The property is in great location. The staff is always friendly and very customer service oriented. Solamar has the intimate feel of a boutique hotel but has the amenities of a large chain hotel.

Katrina DonnellyMart 31, 2018Front desk: excellent. Rooftop bar: nice. Bed: awful. First 2 nights: quiet, then rowdy kids next door (before a 5am flight home). We LOVED Kimpton Allegro in Chicago; Solamar was a letdown.

Stayed for a conference and vacation and it was awesome. Great staff and don’t miss the free happy hour!

If you are in San Diego...stay here! Great staff, wonderful rooftop pool / lounge. I will be returning!

Like them on facebook, they give "passwords" that gives you free stuff like drinks and upgrades.
Beautiful spot to stay and relax. Pool bar is awesome! But working here sux! Hahahaha
Nice digs ... except for the hotel employee who banged on my door at 11:30 pm to demand that I call the front desk to verify my identity. WTF?!
Try the hot coco in the afternoon. Great way to stay warm and it's yummy with marshmallows!- Follow the hotel on facebook. They do giveaways, sales and their "passwords"
Lovely hotel, v friendly staff and free wifi in room, but $6 for 15 mins in the biz center? Yikes!
If its not busy, ask the Valets to throw the football around with you.
