A most excellent venue for trying out Caucasian food. Portions are filling and the prices reasonable. You can't go wrong with харчо soup and a хачапури or dumplings. Georgian beer is good too.
The ruins themselves are vast and impressive, but the Museum is forgettable. Also has a wild walking route with 3+km.
Do not miss the beautiful "primitive" medieval tomb of Queen St Elizabeth, by Master Pero. Also, the largest Barroque cloister in Portugal, damaged but charming. Priest Guide speaks English.
All around great presentation of all exposition materials, but absolutely excellent on medieval sculpture/architecture. One of the best museums in the country, in my opinion.
Sunken for 200 years, this franciscan (clarice) monastery shows a story of secular fight (and eventual defeat) against the river.
Heaven for kids, with many kid-sized buildings representing Portuguese architecture. Time window into what 40's Portugal though of itself. Kinda expensive for adults, though (9€).

Visitable only with audioguide, presents a lively, if romanticised, summary of life in Islamic Iberia. The view from the terrace might be the best in Cordoba. Visit in the sunset for amazing pictures
Friendly service, good jamon, decent bread. The House Wine is kinda dreadful, but in a good way. Recommended for a end-of-day drink and tapa.
The most beautiful building of Iberia, glory of Al-Andalus. Visiting at the end of the day means avoiding queues, delighting in the lemon tree yard and enjoying the sunset through the stained glass.
Alhambra is the final masterpiece of Islamic Iberian culture. Often overlooked, the museum under Charles V palace has a stunning collection of artistic and everyday artifacts.
One of the best restaurants in Algarve. Whatever you choose (ask the waiters or owners for the day's speciaks) make sure it is fish. The Grilled Tuna, for example, is to die for.
The montaditos of the name are 1€ sandwiches, of which the menu hosts... 100. Great for a bite while exploring the city. In drinks, go for the refreshing Tinto Verano, only mildly alcoholic.
The place in Granada for seafood tapas. If you don't know what to order, go for the safe calamares (squid), gambas (shrimp) or the delicious almejas (clams). Free tapa with first beer. Fast service.
The simple toast with butter (tostada) is simply perfect for your breakfast. The churros are good too, and they have a large selection of teas.
