Delicious tangbao, esp. the one with crab meat. The shepherd’s purse (荠菜汤包) is not vegetarian. It is mixed with meat. The shopkeepers are loud af, just have to accept the noise as you eat your XLB.
They have Cards Against Humanity, chess, and video games in the back. Good place to wind down after Mister X. Check their prices on the menu before ordering though. You are paying for the ambience.
The 71 is actually one of the nicer buses I’ve ever taken, with its pleather seats and attendants who talk you through every stop (in Chinese).
Even the 微辣 (mildly spicy) is pretty spicy, at least for me. The Chongqing style brown jelly is pretty good, especially to cool down your taste buds after.
