LisiMart 6, 2014Best Bialys! Back in the day there use to be a movie theatre there!! You could have a bialy then a movie! Back then it was Gus Pickles and the famous Bialys place...still stands today!

On the weekends, be sure to press the handle and take a number - they'll call them out and flash on a sign just like at Russ & Daughters. Onion disc (traditionally called pletzel) is the BEST item. Perfect chewy texture & the right amount of onion/poppy seeds. Come on SATURDAY NIGHT until about 2:00 am, for everything HOT out of oven

Great place to pick up a bagel or biayl esp after the remodel.
The new and improved Kossar's now includes bagels and baked goods! Try a bialy!
