Saturdays are very crowded so go during the week, if possible If you have children, bring a wagon and a small ice chest; it keeps everyone happy and cuts the cost of the visit.
Family friendly during the day...not so much at night or during certain festivals (ie. decadence fest.). Leave no road untraveled; there are treasures everywhere!
