Tender Greens is just significantly better eating in vs. taking out (when portions are smaller).

Good for what you need it to be: a sports bar with a good craft beer selection next to Staples Center. Seating at a premium before games, though.

LSU has the country's best tailgate scene, even if you're a visitor. Get there early and introduce yourself to any of the friendly fans. But avoid parking there if you can.
Great spot to catch quality local bands, and you'll find some good beer too. Had Ghost in the Machine on draft when I was there.
