Great local french bistro. If you are looking for cozy ambience and decent steak frites, this place is good one. Scarlett Johansson once spotted here.

The cutest place on the UES. Amazing food, great ambiance and decoration. Sit outside if you can!!!!

Try the steak tartare with raw egg in then middle. It's old school, but that's what Jacques is all about.- The risotto that accompanies the scallops is rich but to die for.

Xian XianEylül 15, 2011French onion soup, fries & escargot are good. Avoid the Croque Monsieur. Too greasy, bready & not enough ham.
On Mondays they offer a great deal, "The Belgian Feast". For $20 you get mussels (your pick of several great sauces), fries, and a great draft beer of your choice - hoegaarden, leffe, or kronenbourg!
