Look up. If you're in the main concourse, look for the constellation of Cancer the crab; they left a brick of what it looked like before renovation (it's the really dark square in the corner).
If your train track has 2 digits its on the upper level. If it has triple digits train is on the lower level. Higher track #s on the West Side of the Terminal...(Rite Aid Train Museum Side)

There's a Shake Shack downstairs where you can not only get the burger of your dreams, but also a bottle of wine for the road to go with it. Your commute just got 100x better.

In the winter you'll find great markets and a holiday train exhibit.- You may not need to visit Grand Central Terminal when in New York City but, this iconic building is worth a stop to take in a slice of the local life and admire its beauty

It is always a highlight seeing the hustle and bustle of so many people in one place. The astronomical ceiling is beautiful and the architecture is typical of the era!
Worlds best train station. Whether your here for the tasty food, architecture, shopping, or a train it's a wonderful place to be.
