Great venue for a convention. However, you cannot bring in outside food, and the food available inside sucks. Home Plate Grill is the closest affordable option.

Marc SNisan 25, 2015Parking Tip: with all the construction, only way to access underground parking under Discovery Green is to approach from North (from Minute Maid Park), southbound on Avenida de las Américas.
Awesome place to go to a convention, and it has been for years.
The second level has a convenience store next to Starbucks with Advil

Right downtown! Good for what I️ would call smaller conventions, 8-10K attendees for example.

A nice place for conventions and gatherings - parking can be a pain or expensive or BOTH.
Bring a jacket! It may be hot outside but they blast the AC here.- Park in the South garage and take the air conditioned skywalk on level 2

Don't eat at the cafe grill on the 3rd floor. The prices are high and the food is very salty.
