World slowest custom immigration. 40 on queue wait for 1 hour plus. Trying to much to be the best in efficiency but still FAIL big time.

Free wifi (maxpot), just open your browser to validate. Water bottle is cheaper at duty free shop than the coffee shops. Immigration queue quite long after 10pm till morning.

If u r travelling by Emirates, just reach the airport well in advance. You might have to walk for almost a mile to your gate.

Wies LabarqueMayıs 5, 2017DXB free wifi is indeed WOW. Never seen airport free wifi this slow! Long queues for toilets as well and very crowded, but hey, at least they have the title "one of busiest airports in the wotld"...
Terminal 2 is quite small but quick . Paul is under renovation:( next best thing Costa or the Marhaba lounge (could get really crowded)
N / AAğustos 29, 2017The worst! Too crowded. You cannot find a decent place to sit at any cafe or in the waiting areas! Even to go to the toilet, I had to wait an hour until I got on the plane, due to too long lane to WCs

Lots of shopping, but its a big airport. If you have a connections make sure you don't get lost!! That being said it's easy to navigate around.
Best shopping for last minutes gifts.. many restaurant options.. shower rooms & first aid..
Besim SadıkayOcak 29, 2020Do not rent a car prior your visit if you are landing on Terminal 2. Almost all car rental companies are located in Terminal 1. It costs 40 AED from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 by cab.

RaniaTemmuz 11, 2017When waiting in line for a taxi, insist on using regular taxis. Sometimes the coordinator might direct to use more expensive options (limousine or pink taxis). Refuse if you don't want to pay extra.
If you are a lounge monger like me, try the Dubai International Hotel Lounge. This is only for those who can't access Emirates lounges.
