This venue is the beating heart of Melbourne Rock Central based in AC/DC Lane. It has an annual rock'n'roll festival in April/May every year called Cherry Rock.
Known as one of the premier live music venues in Melbourne, this venue has played home to some of the greats including Bon Iver, Birds of Tokyo, Andrew WK and Rise Against. Acoustics are spot on.

The tattooed security guard who use to be a fixture at the door of the Cherry Bar is now working the door here. It's always great to see a welcoming smiling face!
They've got rid of the pillar in front of the stage and the pool table, the carpets aren't sticky and the Cobra Bar is no more, but otherwise it's the same old Tote, and long may it prevail.
From a rock'n'roll photographer point of view, the EBC is the best venue in the northern suburbs! Great stage, good lighting, excellent sound and the bandroom is nice and spacious.
Excellent priced pub eat, good tunes and exceptional good looking bar staff with great service.
They have a really good selection of Australian microbrew in bottles. And some slightly random stuff on tap.
