AustinTemmuz 4, 2016More Barney Greengrass in LA (RIP) than anything in NY. DGS is well worth the visit. A sandwich at Katz is ~$25, just a reference point. The quality of food and unique deli vibe sets DGS apart.

Grab the pickles and the I love you a latkes. It'll keep you honest. Place is the best.
Try the roasted cauliflower! Yum! Arrive before the lunch rush and enjoy a great meal at the back bar. It's not a deli, per se, but they have great sandwiches and side salads.

Tasty Jewish and Jewish-influenced cuisine. Latkes are consistently good, as are the brussels sprouts (in season). House-made sodas = yum!
