A cozy spot for a nice intimate dinner, somehow made more charming by the rumbling subway underfoot. Very friendly staff. Incredible bread. The menu is good for sharing, as is the wine list.

Beautiful, peaceful enclave in the middle of the lovely Holland Park. Avoid the Pokemon crowd (if you're reading this after 2016, Pokemon Go was a trendy game that year) and find the peacocks.
Genuinely tasty Mexican fare. Actually quite "authentic" (whatever that means). Pork Pibil is wonderful, as are the taquitos. My only nitpic is the michelada wasn't as spicy as I personally like it.
