If you're an SPG Platinum, take the breakfast instead of the Starpoints. You end up getting a $15 breakfast for free and the food is excellent. Recommend the cage-free egg omelets.
The Aussie meat pies are unbelievable. Try the ground beef pie for starters. It's just a bit spicy and flavorful.
Whoever said that Penn Station is so much nicer than Union Station must be walking with a white cane. The interior of Union Station is breathtakingly beautiful!
