Been coming here since I was 3. Nice atmosphere, although I prefer to stay away from the air handlers on the wall in the bar (ugly). I recommend the "late night burger" $4.95 after 9PM. Excellent.
Linda BradleyNisan 6, 2014Try the Turkey Stack on pretzel roll, heated. It's AWESOME. As is the shrimp snack, steak sandwich, pork chops, burgers. Guess I like a lot here. But don't take reservations, so that is wrong.....
Trina BeanaAğustos 26, 2013Built in the 1820's as a tavern and a store. Supposed to be haunted by a young woman with blonde hair who was said to be a regular of the establishment and died sometime in the 50s in a car accident.
Country Burger: Medium rare, grilled onions, American cheese, on a bun, extra crispy fries.
Burgers are above average, but if you get a carry out order, have the hostess double check it. 50% of the time there has been an item missing in my orders.

Great burgers, nice cozy atmosphere, haunted history, walking distance from many Hinsdale/Clarendon Hills homes.
The buffalo burger is delicious, definately a must have. Spinach/artichoke dip great as well!
